Jun 29, 2010 GSK Opens Vaccine Clinical Research Center in Hacettepe Teknokent
GSK Vaccine Research Center, opened in Ankara Hacettepe University Teknokent in cooperation with Hacettepe Teknokent A.Ş and under the leadership of Turkey’s leading scientists in vaccines, will significantly contribute by strengthening the know how for innovative vaccines R&D and infrastructure in Turkey. The Center will facilitate participation to international clinical studies from Turkey, as well as realization of national research projects in Turkey.
Firstly there will be national clinical research projects to produce data on the efficiency and safety of newly developed vaccines. Participation to international clinical studies from Turkey will be possible. The cooperation and common platforms of study between Turkish and foreign scientists will be strengthened.
Another contribution of this Center will be to produce the much needed data in Turkey on infections and the results of vaccinations. « Back |
